SITUATION

Kentucky Petroleum Marketers Association (KPMA) was seeking a partner to help them get the word out to the public about important legislation that was passed as a result of their work with the industry and policymakers.

APPROACH

Wiser Strategies gathered background information, conducted interviews within the Association. We then planned and executed a media event in Northern Kentucky, including preparing and distributing press releases, contacting the media, and tracking coverage for the Association.

OUTCOMES

KPMA was displayed positively in different media outlets across Kentucky, and their media event was viewed as a success as it helped give credit to the lawmakers who supported the issue.
