Meet Wiser Strategies’ newest intern – Savannah!

Savannah is a Communication and Business Administration student at Berea College. As a rising junior, she has experience in record and information management, customer service, and mentoring/teaching.

Her student tutoring and alumni work at Berea College have encouraged her to find new opportunities, which led her to Wiser Strategies. She is interning with the team for the summer of 2023. She hopes to learn from her co-workers, develop interpersonal relationships, gain experience, and provide helpful and important work while at Wiser Strategies.

What do you admire most in other people?

Humility, the ability to love and accept without pretensions, and to have both self-awareness and self-management skills. It is sometimes hard for people to take accountability for their mistakes while also having compassion for themselves. I admire those who are capable of living with that balance.

What are you most proud of?

I am proud of my commitment to community and volunteer work. The organizations I have worked with have impacted who I am and allowed me to determine my future goals.

What drove your decision to get into this business?

I’ve had the opportunity to work with various organizations from a young age. I started volunteering at the Kentucky Emergency Shelter, Brighton Center, Knights of Columbus, and more, which helped me realize my passion for supporting companies and businesses and helping to guide them toward their goals.

When you’re not working, what do you do for fun?

I enjoy playing video games with my loved ones, going shopping with my friends, getting coffee or boba, and eating lots of good food.
